Solution:

Active purchased the machinery and dairy products at approximately three times their market value, paid in Trade Credits that they used to part-fund their future media. Through Corporate Trade partnerships, Active was able to ensure that both the machinery and short-coded products were resold within industry standards and into approved channels.

Results:

The client avoided a potential loss on the idle machinery and short-coded product, and used the Trade Credits they received in combination with cash to purchase various portions of their future planned media, including Nat'l Cable, Unwired and Print. Media 100% posted to their dollar & weight level goals.

Solution:

Active purchased the gift cards at 85% of face value, providing significantly more value than traditional gift card brokers. The client received Trade Credits that could be applied to their marketing and operational expenses.

Through our corporate partnerships, the gift cards were distributed through approved channels, ensuring brand integrity and customer experience remained intact.

The client converted a dormant liability into working capital, funding a complete digital marketing campaign including social media, programmatic advertising, and email marketing. The solution became an annual strategy for managing gift card inventory.

Active acquired the debt portfolio at 45 cents on the dollar, more than double what secondary debt buyers were offering. Payment was made in Trade Credits that the client could apply toward their substantial advertising budget.

Active utilized its network of collection specialists and payment plan administrators to recover the debt ethically and effectively.

The client immediately recognized $5.4M in value from assets previously written down. They deployed the Trade Credits across their annual media plan including national TV, radio, digital display, and OTT streaming platforms, achieving 100% delivery on all campaigns.

Solution:

Active purchased the unused media commitment at 75 cents on the dollar and provided Trade Credits that could be used across any media channel. This gave the client flexibility to pivot to digital, social, and influencer marketing where their audience was actually engaging.

Active then utilized the broadcast inventory through its network of CPG and automotive clients who still had strong TV viewership demographics.

The client recovered $6M in value from a sunk cost and redirected those resources to a multi-channel digital strategy. The new campaign delivered 3x better ROI than the original TV-only plan would have achieved, and the client avoided penalties for breaking their media contract.

Solution:

Active International assembled a team of environmental consultants to assess the property where it was determined it was saleable on an "as is, where is" basis.

Active purchased the property for full book value, working closely with the local municipality and sold it to a retail developer. The terms of the transaction also relieved the company of any environmental liability.

Results:

The client worked with Active in placing their planned and already budgeted media in National Cable, Print, National Hispanic, Digital, Network & Spot TV. They also achieved the exact same media plan through Active & received full-value for their building that was unachievable in the marketplace.
